1. Agreement
These terms govern your use of the mood.cards service operated by Squared Lemon ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
2. The service
mood.cards is a feedback widget service. You embed a JavaScript snippet on your website; your visitors can then submit feedback through contextual cards. We collect, store, and display that feedback in your dashboard.
3. Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- One person or legal entity may maintain multiple accounts, but each account must be used for a distinct purpose.
4. Your data
You retain ownership of all feedback data collected through the service. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.
You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the service. This license ends when you delete your data or close your account.
5. Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the service in compliance with all applicable laws, including GDPR where it applies.
- Inform your end-users about data collection where required by law (e.g. in your own privacy policy).
- Not use the service to collect sensitive personal data (health, financial, biometric, etc.) through feedback cards unless you have the appropriate legal basis.
- Not attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or abuse the service.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use the service to:
- Collect data from minors under 16 without verifiable parental consent.
- Distribute malware or conduct phishing.
- Impersonate another person or entity.
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
7. Availability
We strive to keep the service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance, infrastructure issues, or circumstances beyond our control may cause temporary downtime. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of planned maintenance in advance.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
- Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
- You can close your account at any time from the dashboard or by contacting us.
- We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with notice where reasonably possible.
- Upon termination, we will delete your data within 30 days, unless we are required by law to retain it.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify account holders of material changes via email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the member state in which Squared Lemon is established. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
